Mortal Kombat 12 finally announced in May?

While some rumors mentioned a presentation of the next Mortal Kombat game in April, things are slowly moving toward next month. Four years after the release of the eleventh installment, the NetherRealm Studios franchise seems to need a new lease on life. And this will inevitably come in the form of a brand-new episode!

In a recent tweet, Jez Corden, the highly reliable journalist from Windows Central, teased an announcement for Mortal Kombat 12 in May. We do not have any further details, but confirmation should be coming soon.
