In the UK, Assassin's Creed Shadows has sold more physical copies in one week than Star Wars Outlaws did in three months

Ubisoft can give itself a pat on the back for the launch of Assassin's Creed Shadows. In the UK, the physical edition of the game has been a huge commercial success.
Video Games Chronicle revealed that Ubisoft sold more physical copies of Shadows in one week than Star Wars: Outlaws did in three months. The performance of the latest Assassin's Creed equals that of Assassin's Creed Mirage. However, since it is sold at a higher price, Shadows generated far more revenue.
Also, UK physical sales of Shadows accounted for 63% of those of Valhalla when it was released in November 2020. It's important to remember that the latter was released on a larger number of supports, and also benefited from a sales boost caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finally, still in the UK, Assassin's Creed Shadows was the best physical release of the year. It even beat out Monster Hunter Wilds.
