According to a rumor going on at the subreddit Gaming Leaks and Rumors, the Nintendo Switch 2 could feature a 120 Hz screen with VRR and HDR support. This would improve fluidity with 40 FPS modes and better responsiveness thanks to the variable refresh rate.
The information comes from user Secretboy of the Famiiboards forum, who had already revealed correct details about the console's GPU before the leaks in January. He claims that the console will feature an LCD screen and not an OLED one, probably for cost reasons. However, there's nothing official about this and should be treated with caution.
