Painkiller will be back this year

3D Realms and Anshar Studios are bringing Painkiller back to life this 2025. A new game has been announced this week for release next autumn on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

This title will offer an intense cooperative experience (for up to three players) against hordes of demons and other immense monsters. All this will take place in a highly detailed gothic universe, with deadly weapons. An offline mode will also be available.

We're also promised an absolutely immense environment, called Purgatory, and abilities that can be managed with tarot cards. Four unique characters (Ink, Void, Sol and Roch) will be available.
