Atomfall will have 5 different difficulty modes
, by Thibaut
Although Atomfall is first and foremost a survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world, the developers wanted to appeal to all players. This is why the title will feature five difficulty modes when it is released on March 27.
These modes are explained in a long video.
- Sightseer:a pressure-free mode for those who prefer to focus on the story and exploring.
- Investigator: for those who enjoy exploring freely but prefer easier combat and survival.
- Brawler: for players who enjoy combat, but prefer guided exploration and a lighter focus on survival mechanics.
- Survivor: the classic Atomfall experience, with a good balance between combat and survival.
- Veteran: intense combat with far-reaching consequences and constant battle for survival.
In addition, you can adjust difficulty parameters such as the number of enemies, their aggressiveness and precision at will. The same goes for survival, with the option to change the health regeneration rate, the rarity of the look or the player's resistance. Last but not least, when it comes to exploration, we'll get to activate or deactivate the compass, navigation hints, unlimited sprining and the markers on the map at will.
