Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of the best optimized games for PS5 Pro

There are only a few hours to go before we can finally enjoy Assassin's Creed Shadows on March 20. The specialized press has given its verdict on the game, and today we're learning a little more about the PS5 Pro version.
The Digital Foundry YouTube channel has carried out a thorough analysis of Ubisoft's title on Sony's latest machine. The testers found that this is one of the console's best upgrades to date.
The PS5 Pro's Performance mode features global illumination for diffused lighting throughout the map, which is not the case on the standard PS5. While image quality itself changes little, ray tracing makes a huge difference to overall rendering.
It's worth noting that definition is also higher in Quality mode on the PS5 Pro, with extended ray tracing at the same time, i.e. diffuse lighting and reflective surfaces throughout the game map.
Finally, the 40 FPS Balanced mode (for 120 or 240 Hz screens with HDMI 2.1) also boasts better definition than its PS5 equivalent.
