Capcom recently registered the trademark Dino Crisis

No, the Dino Crisis franchise is not dead. The first game came back the PlayStation Store last year, and Capcom may well be following in its footsteps.

Indeed, the publisher registered the "Dino Crisis" trademark in Japan on March 4. The registration was only made public on March 12, 2025. This securing of rights could suggest that Capcom is preparing new releases for its license.

Of course, for the moment there's nothing concrete about hypothetical future projects.
