A laptop with water cooling and an RTX 5090 has been unveiled as part of a Kickstarter
, by Quentin
A Kickstarter project presents a laptop concept with water cooling that is compatible with desktop components. It's called UHPILCL (Ultra High Performance Integration Liquid Cooled Laptop) and supports standard ITX motherboards, AMD 9800X3D/9950X3D or Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processors and even a 32 GB RTX 5090.
Two versions are planned: T1000 and T1000 SUPER. The device features a 17.3” 3K 120 Hz screen in 21:10 format, and a hybrid mode that lets you switch between a high-performance PC and a low-power system, with a claimed battery life of 3 hours. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, as well as a wide choice of USB and video ports. Storage capacity is up to 32TB with M.2 and SATA slots. The machine weighs up to 5.2 kg and features an RGB backlit mechanical keyboard.
The fundraising campaign has yet to begin, and no price has been announced. As with any project in the design phase, we advise caution before considering any investment.
