The alpha version of the next Skate now has microtransactions

It's never too early to add microtransactions to a game! Such seems to be the motto of Electronic Arts, which has decided to include the possibility of purchasing items in the next entry in the Skate saga.

Players with access to the alpha version of Full Circle's title have received a message informing them of the arrival of San Van Bucks, an in-game currency to be purchased for real money, then spent to acquire in-game cosmetic items. The developers say they have included this new feature to offer a "positive experience when purchasing items in the Skate Store".

Full Circle and EA intend to test this monetization system before the launch of the new Skate later this year.
