LEGO intends to develop its own games in-house

For many years now, LEGO has been available in video games developed by studios external to the Danish company. TT Games is generally responsible for these titles, and there's a new title due to arrive in 2026.
However, the toymaker is about to review its strategy. In an interview, LEGO CEO Niels Christiansen announced that he would be producing games in-house.
"We can say, as long as we’re under the Lego brand, we can cover experiences for kids of all ages, digital or physical. [Games development in-house] is something we’re building up."
Whether this new policy will have an impact on projects created by third-party partners remains to be seen.
