Since its launch, more than 100,000 cheaters have been banned from Overwatch 2

Blizzard has been cracking down on cheaters in Overwatch 2. Despite numerous criticisms about its content and lack of new features compared to its predecessor, the second installment has attracted hundreds of thousands of players to its servers. This success has been largely aided by the game's free-to-play aspect.

Unfortunately, the economic model of Overwatch 2 has also resulted in attracting cheaters. This week, Blizzard's teams announced that they have banned over 100,000 users since last October. This should significantly clean up the servers.
