The RTX 50 for laptops is also affected by missing ROPs

NVIDIA has asked notebook manufacturers to test their RTX 50 laptops before shipment following a problem of missing ROPs already seen on some RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070 Ti graphics cards.

According to Heise Online, several manufacturers had to halt production to inspect the GPUs and avoid a loss of 3D performance. NVIDIA only lifted the embargo on pre-orders at the end of February, and these were pushed back by at least a month, also affecting Intel and AMD production lines.

Manufacturers only recently received the final version of VBIOS, preventing the launch of mass production until now. These tests should help prevent the release of models with reduced performance.
