It didn't take long for Monster Hunter Wilds to reach and surpass one million concurrent players on Steam. As of now, the peak is at 1.196 million users connected at the same time.

Just released on consoles and PC, Monster Hunter Wilds is already shattering records! Indeed, the first figures from SteamDB are absolutely insane.

At the time of writing (and this will no doubt be surpassed today), the title has reached a peak of 987,482 simultaneous players on Steam alone. In its entire history, Monster Hunter World reached "only" 334,684 simultaneous users.

Needless to say, Monster Hunter Wilds is currently the most played game on Steam, ahead of Counter-Strike 2, PUBG, Dota 2 and Marvel Rivals. We can also imagine that, taking all platforms into account, Capcom's title has already sold several million copies so far.
