The head of the Halo franchise has recently left Microsoft

The renewal seems to continue within the teams in charge of the Halo saga. After 18 years at Microsoft, Joseph Staten officially announced his departure last week. He notably worked as a writer on several games in the series and led the development of Halo Infinite.

Now, according to his LinkedIn profile, it is Frank O'Connor's turn to step away from Master Chief. He will have served 19 years at the American multinational as Franchise Creative Director. A role he will presumably take on at another company whose identity he has not yet confirmed.
