Monster Hunter Wilds gets rave reviews from the press

Monster Hunter Wilds is coming later this week to consoles and PC. But while we're waiting for its launch on February 28, Capcom's latest title has gone through the specialized press test.

And Monster Hunter Wilds clearly didn't disappoint, with a Metacritic average of 89% on PS5 (50 reviews), 88% on PC (18 reviews) and 83% on Xbox Series (6 reviews). The OpenCritic site currently boasts a score of 89%, with 83 reviews.

Among the positive points, we can highlight a world as lively as it is vast, impressive creatures, an interesting story, entertaining exploration and convincing artistic direction. The Focus mode is also a success, as is the audio aspect of the game and its length.

On the downside, the graphics are not always up to scratch (with dated textures), the tutorial is a little confusing and the bestiary lacks variety.
