An iconic character will come back in Marvel's Spider-Man 2
, by Thibaut
We apologize for the slightly clickbaity title (for once). We've deliberately chosen it so as not to spoil any story elements from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and its sequel in development at Insomniac Games.
So, if you have yet to complete the second entry... It's best if you skip this!
In an interview with The Direct, Yuri Lowenthal, the actor who plays Peter Parker in the games, spoke about his character's future. While the main character indicated that he was not in a position to give precise details, he explained that Parker would indeed be in Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
"He will be a part of the next game and he won't be relegated to the couch, I promise."
Indeed, at the very end of the second game, Peter leaves New York and entrusts the protection of the city to Miles Morales, who will then be the only active Spider-Man. It's safe to assume that some event will prompt Parker to return to action in the next game.
