Konami will increase the salaries of Japanese employees salaries again

The publisher has announced the good news in a press release. Against a backdrop of layoffs and studio closures, Konami has decided to increase its employees' salaries.
The increase, which will be implemented for the fourth consecutive fiscal year, will take effect from March 2026. Employees based in Japan will see their income rise by ¥5,000 per month (€31.5).
New recruits will get from an entry-level monthly salary of ¥305,000 (approx. €1925), compared to the ¥300,000 (€1894) at present. Konami says it is making these changes to "stabilizing the income of our employees and creating a satisfying working environment".
