Epic Games Store set a new record in 2024, with 295 million users

The 2024 retrospective for the Epic Games Store has revealed some very interesting figures.
First, the online store welcomed 25 million more users than in 2023, bringing the annual total to 295 million players in 2024. The Epic ecosystem now counts 898 million accounts, 94 million more than a year ago. The number of cumulative daily users has been set at 37.2 million, and monthly users at 74 million. That said, this latter figure is down by one million year-on-year.
Also, in 2024, 1,100 games were released on the Epic Games Store, bringing the catalog to over 4,000 products. Players spent $255 million through Epic's payment service (down 18%). Total spending for last year is estimated at $1.09 billion, an increase of 15%.
Finally, 89 games were offered free of charge via the Epic Games Store in 2024, for a total value of $2,229.
