FromSoftware apologizes for the many problems with the Elden Ring Nightreign network test

What was supposed to be a great day for the thousands of lucky testers of Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware's new multiplayer spin-off, quickly turned into a disaster due to many problems.

While the aim of the test was to let the developers test many of the game's online features and identify any bugs or balancing issues, it ended up being a big fiasco. A series of technical problems occurred, and FromSoftware support indicated that this was due to the large number of players trying to connect at the same time.

The company has announced that the servers are undergoing maintenance to resolve these issues, and that a new test session is being considered. As a reminder, Elden Ring Nightreign will arrive on May 30 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
