In the end, the next Diablo IV expansion will be released in 2026

At first, Blizzard Entertainment sweared that Diablo IV was to get a new expansion every year, but this won't be the case...

During a panel discussion, Rod Fergusson, Diablo's general manager, talked about the current roadmap for the fourth entry in the franchise.

"This year, just before Season 8, we'll have a 2025 roadmap for Diablo 4 ready."

"Our second expansion will not appear on this roadmap, as it will arrive in 2026, but at least players will have an idea of the roadmap we'll be following."

We'll have to wait to see this roadmap to learn what's to come in Diablo IV this year.
