Jez Corden, a Windows Central journalist, has made a name for himself on several occassion for how reliable the information on the Xbox ecosystem he relies is.
This time, he's back with a new scoop about the next generation of Microsoft consoles. According to him, the machine has already passed the early stages of development and is fully approved and budgeted for.
That said, he wants to temper expectations by pointing out that he does not expect an imminent announcement. Nevertheless, the project looks well advanced for the years to come. It's interesting to note that, despite Xbox's lacklustre sales figures, Microsoft continues to believe in its consoles and is investing in their future.
