What to play this weekend #1
, by Thibaut
It's time to inaugurate a new column that you can find every Friday on IG News. Indeed, the editorial staff of the site will select every week recent Steam games that are worth discovering. A great opportunity to venture off the beaten path while keeping yourself occupied during the upcoming weekend.
Note that the following list is not ranking in any way.
1. Crab Championsa
As the name suggests, Crab Champions allows you to play as a crab in an ultra-fast-paced shooter with roguelike elements, all in single-player or cooperative mode for up to four players.
2. Pineapple on Pizza
This extremely short (and free) game, estimated to last 10 minutes, takes us to a paradise island full of people dancing. The goal is simply to create chaos by ruining the party.
3. The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog
The famous blue hedgehog is dead and we will have to investigate to find out who is responsible for this terrible murder. Goodbye speed, hello visual novel with a very offbeat detective story.
4. DREDGE
Here's the indie game of the moment that puts us in control of a trawler. Finding treasures, fishing, and improving our ships are essential activities to survive on the high seas.
5. Landfall Archives
Curious people and video game lovers will undoubtedly appreciate this compilation of 23 projects abandoned by the Landfall studio. These never-released titles become playable for the first time through demos and other short gameplay sequences designed by the developers.
