According to AMD, the GRE acronym for its Chinese GPUs now stands for "Great Radeon Edition"

AMD has confirmed that the GRE acronym on the Radeon RX 7650 GRE now stands for "Great Radeon Edition", which means that this GPU exclusive of the Chinese market doesn't carry the "Golden Rabbit Edition" moniker used with the RX 7900 GRE back in 2023.

These cards are available in customized versions from manufacturers such as Sapphire, ASUS, PowerColor and Vastarmor. Gigabyte and MSI aren't among the partners this time.

They are already on sale in China and can be imported, but it's probably not your best option, given that the RX 7600 XT probably offers better performance at a lower price. AMD keeps working to adopt a strategy of market-specific launches, limiting the availability of other modes.
