Suikoden 1 & 2 Remaster release date should be announced soon
, by Thibaut
In the coming years, Konami aims to revive its greatest classics. This will notably be the case with Silent Hill 2 and, according to persistent rumors, Metal Gear Solid 3. While these two projects will be released in the form of remakes, the Japanese publisher also plans to remaster much-loved titles.
This is where Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars come into play. As the name suggests, this compilation will bring together the two iconic RPGs of the PlayStation era. All with high-definition graphics, additional visual and sound effects, an automatic save system, fast-forward during battles, and much more.
While we don't yet know the release date of the remaster outside of a vague "2023," it has just been listed by the Taiwanese classification board. Konami should therefore give us more information very soon.
