Season 2 of the Last of Us will have some chronological differences from the game
, by Thibaut
HBO will broadcast the second season of The Last of Us TV series in April. Of course, the events of Naughty Dog's sequel will serve as the basis for this adaptation... but with some differences.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann discussed the structure of Season 2. The timeline of events will be different from that of the game.
Some elements will not take place in the same order due to the challenges imposed by a TV series. Druckmann has stated that "we certainly are going to mess around with time the way it was in the source material". We don't know just yet what the creator of The Last of Us is talking about, but we imagine that his wish is to surprise fans of the game that already know what's going to happen.
