Konami is doing well, thanks in large part to Silent Hill 2

The Japanese company has revealed its financial results for the first nine months of the current fiscal year, ending March 31, 2025.
It was a record period for Konami in the video game sector. The company recorded sales of 310.8 billion yen (around 1.93 billion euros), up 23% on the previous year. Net profit was up 63.1 billion yen (approx. 391.7 million euros), an increase of 42%.
Overall, Konami's digital entertainment division saw a 32% increase in sales and a 45% rise in profits. It should be noted that 70% of sales were generated in Japan, and that the company's annual forecasts have been revised upwards.
This good financial health is largely due to the success of Silent Hill 2, which recently surpassed the 2 million copies sold. Last but not least, eFootball is no stranger to success, having racked over 800 million downloads so far.
