With the launch of the RTX 5080 and 5090, NVIDIA is also rolling out the Game Ready 572.16 drivers, which of course bring several new features.
The main change here is the arrival of DLSS 4, a new version that further enhances Frame Generation by adding up to three more frames.
NVIDIA has also introduced Smooth Motion, an AI-based feature that improves fluidity by inserting an intermediate image between two rendered frames. Unlike Frame Generation, this one works even in games that don't explicitly support it.
Last but not least, a new feature makes its appearance: DLSS 4 Overrides. It lets you force the use of the latest DLSS version in compatible games. NVIDIA has already announced support for 75 games at launch.
