A shipping note mentions an ASUS NUC with a Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 and a Radeon 8060S GPU. The document points to a probable destination in India for tests related to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
After the NUC 14, designed in part by Intel, the NUC 15 marks the transition to models developed entirely by ASUS. The brand is exploring various changes, including the usage of non-Intel processors.
It could feature the Ryzen AI MAX 395, from the Strix Halo series, features 16 Zen 5 cores and an RDNA 3.5 iGPU with 40 compute units. This configuration could be positioned opposite the ROG NUC, which targets the gaming market, all with a different format.
The Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 has an adjustable TDP between 45W and 120W, allowing it to be adapted to best suit various energy and thermal requirements.
