According to a U.S retailer, AMD will open pre-orders of the RX 9070 on March 23

US retailer B&H Photo has posted a March 23 pre-order date for AMD's Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT new GPUs.

AMD had originally planned a January launch before pushing it back to March. This new date seems to confirm this new schedule, though there's no official announcement on this yet. However, with March 23 falling on a Sunday, it won't be that exact day, as AMD tends to avoid lifting an embargo on weekends.

AMD justified this delay saying it's working on software optimization and FSR 4 integration. In addition, stocks are said to be more substantial than those of NVIDIA's RTX 50s, which could avoid an immediate shortage on release.
