The Switch could get one last big game from a beloved IP

As it begins to make way for the Switch 2, the first hybrid console from Nintendo will almost be getting all remasters this year. That said, the Japanese company may have kept one last card up its sleeve.
The rumor comes from the podcast of the Brazilian YouTube channel “O X do Controle”. In it, we learn that the Switch will host a new Nintendo game from a license that is "popular", but that appeals above all to a "niche" audience. And we're not talking about a remaster, but a genuine new entry.
It's impossible to know what we're talking about just yet. However, the same source points to a classic Nintendo Direct taking place in February. The one dedicated to Switch 2 will be held on April 2, 2025.
