Microsoft announces a new wave of layoffs

2025 starts just like 2024 did for Microsoft, The American company laid off 1,900 employees last year, and this month will see further departures.
A company spokeperson has confirmed the information to Business Insider, saying it's a "small" number of people from the sales, security and gaming divisions.
The same person clarified that these redundancies are not linked to those targeting "underperforming employees" from the plan announced on January 8 and that wanted to kick off the multinational those employees who are not performing well in their chosen sector.
