Anime Life Sim, a (obvious) Animal Crossing Clone, has been announced for PS5

No, the image at the top of this article isn't from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's taken straight from footage of Anime Life Sim, a life sim heavily inspired by the Nintendo IP.
Developed by Maksym Vysochanskyy (TCG Card Shop Manager), this title is due for release on PS5 in February 2025. The screenshots clearly shows the strong resemblance to Animal Crossing, whether in terms of character appearance, art direction or even the concept of the gmae.
The description mentions seasonal changes, dynamic weather, the ability to fish, catch insects, decorate and make your home bigger, all while helping your animal neighbors. In short, everything you can do in Animal Crossing. It remains to be seen whether Nintendo's lawyers will stick their noses into the matter or not.
