CI Games won't include any DEI content in their games

A number of studios like Arrowhead Game (Helldivers 2) have recently opposed introducing DEI policies into their games.-

The acronym DEI stands for "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion", and is generally used to promote inclusion and combat all forms of discrimination. You can find such themes in certan works of fiction and entertainment so far.

Now it's the turn of Ryan Hill, who handles marketing at Ci Games (Lords of the Fallen), to go against the addition of thse themes to the studio's games.

"While some video games have recently seized the opportunity to integrate social or political concerns into their experience, it's clear that many gamers don't appreciate this, which explains why a number of high-profile games performed poorly commercially last year."

"Our games will always be developed with the aim of maximizing player enjoyment and commercial success. As such, we will not be incorporating social or political themes into these experiments in the future, having observed the high risk this can present."

Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, agreed with his position, stating once again that no CI Games game will feature political elements regarding DEI policies.
