The Godfall development team has reportedly been disbanded

Back in December 2019, Godfall was one of the first titles to be announced for PS5. This action title was developed by Counterplay Games and released to mixed reviews in November 2020.
More than four years later, we learn today that the team no longer exists. This is all according to an employee of the Jackalyptic studio, which was working on a project with Counterplay. The main person concerned here has confirmed on LinkedIn that this partnership is over, and that the team responsible for Godfall has disbanded.
That said, we don't know yet if Counterplay Games has been shut down once and for all.
