Ubisoft Toronto is participating in the development of the next Far Cry games

If the future of the French publisher seems resolutely focused on Assassin's Creed (with 6 distinct games in development), Ubisoft has not forgotten Far Cry either. Currently, two new titles are in production.

In this short list, we first find "Project Blackbird", which is actually the true seventh episode of the saga. In addition, a multiplayer Far Cry nicknamed "Project Maverick" internally is also in the works.

Originally, it is Ubisoft Montreal that is in charge of the famous FPS franchise. But things are changing since the publisher's offices based in Toronto will participate in the development. We don't know if Ubisoft Toronto is working on "Blackbird", "Maverick", or both games at the moment. What is certain is that the future of *Far Cry is already secured!
