The Switch 2 may support microSD Express cards
, by Thibaut
With each passing day, we learn a little bit more about the rumoured Switch 2. Now it's GameStop that has access to references on accesories and other peripherals for the machine.
A photo shared on Reddit shows that the console will use microSD Express cards. These use an SD Express interface for much higher speeds that those of a conventional microSD card. It's safe to assume that games stored on these cards will load faster.
SanDisk microSD Express cards are currently available at €54.99 for 128 GB and €70.99 for 256 GB.
